Remarks:
Commissioned by the Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab and built at an approximate cost of $24,000. The project was funded through private donations. Lama Karma Dorje advised on the proportions of the Stupa, based on a 2,500 year old text he brought from his native Sikkim. The Stupa was designed by Jerry Morrelli and the Lama. The crown was designed by Paul Kloppenberg and welded by Ray McDonnald. Josh Mulder sculpted the Buddha in the niche. IAS files include brochures from the Stupa.
