    Remarks: 
    The monument was designed by soldier and regiment member Lt. Sylvester W. McCluskey and built and erected by the American Granite Company at a cost of $4,040. IAS files contain photocopy of National Register of Historic Places Nomination Form. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 08691). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form.
