    Remarks: 
    The memorial was a joint effort of the City of Idaho Falls and veterans organizations: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2146, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and their auxiliaries. Ground was broken on Loyalty Day in April 1988. The cost of the sculpture was $12,118. The monument was erected at the site of a memorial fountain after the close of World War I. The sculptor is unknown; the Lingren's did the mosaic paintings. IAS files contain transcription of stele text.
