Description:
A sculpture of three children building sandcastles, installed in a round fountain basin. All the figures wear bathing suits. The central figure is a girl with a ponytail. She is kneeling and building a sandcastle. To her proper right is a younger girl with short hair. She sits cross-legged and is holding a shell. A little boy sits with his legs outstretched, his back to the two girls. He is looking down at the sandcastle he is building. There are tennis shoes and a beach bag behind the figures. Half of the round plinth is inverted to suggest that the figures are seated at the edge of the shore.
