    Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned by the Framingham State College Art Department in 1977. The artist was a professor at Framingham State College and the sculpture was posthumously dedicated as a memorial to him. IAS files contain articles from the Framingham State College newspaper, The Gatepost, Sept. 20, 1984, pg. 3 and Nov. 16, 1984. Marty Carlock's "A Guide to Public Art in Greater Boston" refers to the title as Delta 1-2-3 and the medium as stainless steel, but the SOS! survey and The Gatepost articles refer to the title as Delta 678 and the medium as cast aluminum. The numbers in the title represent the varied length of each leg of the tripod.
