    Description: 
    A rectangular bronze relief plaque with a bust-length portrait of Seth Green is mounted on a boulder. Green is depicted with a beard and moustache and is seen in profile, wearing a coat and tie. Below the portrait is an image of a trout leaping out of the water toward a fly, set amidst water weeds. The plaque has a chiseled effect throughout.

    Remarks: 
    Seth Green (1817-1888) was a conservationist who is considered the father of fish culture in America. He devised and developed the artificial propagation of fish.
