A high relief sculpture containing thirteen Classical figures decorates the front pediment of the Latchis Theatre. The figures decrease in size moving towards each end of the pediment. In the center, a female in full-length drapery is seated on a throne-like chair, her hair pulled away from her face. A mask rests next to her on the proper right arm of the chair. To her proper right the figures are, moving away from the center: a robed, helmeted female with a shield attached to her proper left wrist and a spear in her proper right hand; a standing draped female with a spear, next to a nude male holding a spear in his proper right hand; a seated female with a spear; and a reclining male armed with a club. In the corner are several horses' heads. To her proper left the figures are, moving away from the center: a standing female carrying a book against her body with her proper left arm; a draped standing figure with a spear; a partially nude male with a shield at his rear; a seated female with a spear; and in the corner, two females reclining.
