Description:
A figure group consisting of six figures standing atop a square base with a bell enclosure. An Indian stands in the back with a priest to his proper left. The priest carries a cross with his proper right hand and points with his proper left hand. In front of them are a pioneer woman and a little girl, with two men in front of them. One man sits reading a map, while the other man to his proper left stands with a dog by his side. The base has cathedral-like windows on all four sides, covered with decorative wrought iron. Within the enclosure of the base is the church bell.
