    Description: 
    A figure of the Virgin Mary stands wearing a full cape over a full-length gown. Her head is covered with a scarf that reaches to cover the back of her neck and shoulders. She holds the child Jesus who wears a tunic and stretches out his arms to his sides. The statue is placed atop a base that is accompanied by a planter and a bench.

    Father Hunthausen made arrangements for the purchase of the statue while he was in Rome for Vatican II. Maronick Construction was responsible for the erection of the statue and for its base.
