Description:
Abstract structure which resembles a "mountain range" (artist's quote) composed of a grid or webbed construction atop two steel pillars, painted black. A small boulder sits within the grid-like portion.

Nearby plaque reads: "Urban Palisades by Jay Markel. Commissioned by the Municipal Art Commission's One-Percent-For Art Program of Kansas City, Missouri. Dedicated February 1994."
