    Description: 
    Bronze figure of a raccoon dipping its paws into a small pool of water. The sculpture stands atop a concrete and mortared stone base. The top of the base is hollowed slightly to create the pool of water.

    Remarks: 
    The base was constructed in 1974 by Kiser and Jenson. The sculpture was added and dedicated in 1988 in memory of Byron Pierson Jensen, a civic leader and artist in Brisbane. Cost of the sculpture was $3,000. Funds for the sculpture were raised by friends and family of Jensen. IAS files contain list of donor names. IAS files contain copies of related fund-raising correspondence, dedication ceremony program and copy of related article from Brisbane Bee, Dec. 21, 1988.
