    Description: 
    Figure of a union soldier standing at parade rest. He wears a uniform consisting of a long coat buttoned to the top and belted at the waist, a cap and a backpack with a bed roll set on top. The bearded and mustached figure holds the barrel of a rifle with both hands. The butt of the gun rests in front on his proper left foot. His proper right foot is bent at the knee.
