Description:
A relief on the entablature level of the front facade of a building. The relief is comprised of two men, each riding a horse. The men and horses are centrally located. Words are on either side of them. Both riders are nude. The rider on the proper right has a cloak around his neck which is blowing back in the wind. He is leaning forward and passing a paper to the man in front of him with his proper right hand. The man in front holds the reins of his horse in his proper left hand and reaches back for the paper with the other hand.

Remarks:
This building was designed by the architectural firm of Malmfeldt, Adams and Prentice as part of the Federal government's Works Progress Administration construction program. The building originally housed a Post Office and the Federal Courthouse. It is not known if the artist also did the eagles located on the corners of the building. Margaret Samu (2002) and Rabetz catalog (1993) report date as 1938.
