    Description: 
    A standing figure of a coal miner dressed in work uniform. His left arm grasps his belt at his waist; his proper right hand holds a lidded bucket by his side. He wears a miner's hard hat with a light attached to the front; coveralls which are open at the neck, sleeves rolled up, and pants legs tucked into lace-up boots. His belt includes a buckle and various pouches, a battery pack, and a tool kit with pliers. The figure is painted a bronze color. The tapered base is made to resemble concrete.
