    Description: 
    Mary stands holding the Christ Child with her proper left hand. Her proper right hand holds a small scepter topped with a cross. Mary wears a robe, a long gown, sandals, and a crown while Jesus wears a jacket-like garment. Both Mary and Jesus have halos. Sculpture is set within a recess at the bottom of a bell tower of a church.

    Remarks: 
    Dedicated to the founder of the shrine and a former pastor of the church, Father Giles Lawlor, who died July 26, 1949. J. Pirkner is an employee of Adrian Hamers' workshop. Brother Caietan Bauman was the architect of the church and the shrine. James J. MacKinnon was the builder of the original shrine. The sculpture's design is copyrighted by Adrian Hamers, Inc. IAS files contain transcriptions of nearby plaques and photocopies showing details of the sculpture prior to installation.
