The sculpture was fabricated with the assistance of Drago Kuharec and Drago Metal Art Industries. Thomas Lyons of Lyons, Mather & Lechner was the architect responsible for the 1970 wing of the building. Mechanics & Farmers Bank was formerly known as Mechanics & Farmers Savings Bank.
