The imagery is inspired by nature and generally expresses a sense of time or timelessness. The title refers to ancient Greek mythological sources which tell of the birth of Gaia (Mother Earth) who brings balance and order out of chaos and dis-unity. The sculpture is dedicated as a tribute to Mother Earth. The sculpture was formerly located at the Art Department of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, and at the Conemara Art Park in Dallas, TX.
