Formerly located at Brewer Residence, 29 Beacon Street, Boston, Massachusetts until 1870's.

Remarks:
One of several castings of the original 1855 by Paul Lienard, this fountain was bought at the Paris Exposition of 1867 by Gardner Brewer as a gift to the City of Boston. In 1990, the fountain was rededicated after extensive renovation, which included bronze conservation, installation of a recycling pump system, and a comprehensive renovation of the masonry.
