    Description: 
    This abstract sculpture consists of six clusters of arrows, rising from the ground, curving back, descending, and entangling with one another. The sculpture is placed in a planted traffic triangle with a path leading through the center of the sculpture.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture cost over $200,000 and was funded by developer La Salle Partners in exchange for development rights above and beyond standard zoning. A model of the sculpture was exhibited at the National Building Museum during August 1992. The sculpture was created under the supervision of Tommy Dicken of Hamilton & Spiegel Ironworks. Robert Esselburn worked with Chris Gardner and the landscaping firm of Lewis Scully Genoit to design the landscaping for the project. IAS files contain an article from the Washington Post, Feb. 14, 1994.
