Remarks:
The sculpture was purchased by the Kohler Company from Kenneth Lynch & Sons of Wilton, Connecticut. The female dancer is modeled after a star of the "follies bergere," Miss Loie Fuller, whose scarf dance caused a sensation. The sculpture rests in a fountain within a landscaped patio and garden designed by John Green of the Kohler Company.
