    Remarks: 
    In 1958 when the artist and his family moved into a house on a slope he decided to put in a rock retaining wall and create a gravel terrace. This project eventually turned into the current oriental rock garden. Artist embedded the Chinese characters for longevity in his driveway. IAS files contain related article from the Phoenix Gazette, April 19, 1991, pg. F1-F2.
