Description:
A tall spire that flares outward from the center in all four directions. The spire is painted with a smooth white epoxy. It is mounted on the front of a tall slab base. Night lighting is provided by mercury vapor spotlights.

Remarks:
The sculpture was donated to Sparks Regional Medical Center by John M. Yantis and family in memory of his late wife, Julia, who died January 9, 1975. The sculpture is meant to be a symbol of hope and faith to all who enter the institution. The spire was modeled after one atop Children's Hospital in Los Angeles and was fabricated by yacht builder, Robert Derecktor and Company. Larson & Wear installed the sculpture.
