Description:
The wall consists of 33 panels of cast concrete with shapes such as eggs, shells, and fins executed in terrazzo and ceramic attached to the wall. Beginning at the Aquarium entrance, familiar fish shapes become gradually more shadowy beneath the broadening wave patterns. They are followed by increasingly abstract geometric shapes, capsules, zygotes, inverted cones representing the vortex of the waves, and egg-like forms that recall more basic forms of life in transformation.
