Description:
An abstract bantam rooster in a strutting stance, with the four points at the bottom being two legs and two wings. The sculpture is atop four concrete squares covered with stones within a courtyard.

Remarks:
Color of sculpture, red, signifies the bird's virility. Displayed at the Brevard Community College campus at Melbourne, Florida, then moved to its current location. Artist was inspired by work and study with artist Arthur Bauman. Brevard County Maintenance Department helped with courtyard base and installation. IAS files contain a related article.
