The wall ends with a poem about Vietnam written by Mecklenburg resident Lochlin Walker)
    Description: 
    Curved granite wall built along an ivy-covered mound. The wall is composed of inscribed panels covering the Vietnam conflict chronologically from 1959-1975, as well as the names of Mecklenburg County residents who lost their lives, 1965-1972.
