    Description: 
    Male figure standing with his proper right leg forward and his proper left foot positioned with the heel raised and the weight on the ball of his foot. His proper left arm is raised and his proper left hand is in a fist while his proper right arm is lowered and slightly extended to his proper right side. The proper right hand is also in a fist.

    Remarks: 
    General Assembly resolution authorizing placement of a statue of Watson on Capitol property was passed Aug. 21, 1925. Watson was former Georgia legislator and Populist Party presidential candidate.
