Description:
Limestone relief of a buffalo standing in profile facing the proper right. The relief is carved on several blocks of limestone and is part of a large free-standing wall. The wall sits on a rectangular base of limestone blocks.

Remarks:
Sculpture was executed by Ruth Kirtland, a student at Kansas State College, under the supervision of Prof. J. Cranston Heintzelman. The stone was purchased by the Sertoma Club and Bayer Construction Company. IAS files contain copy of related article from Manhattan Mercury, Feb. 23, 1958.
