    Description: 
    A fountain sculpture comprised of four joined pylons. The monumental trapezoidal-shaped concrete slabs form right angles to each other and embrace an accordion-like fountain head made of granite. Water flows over the granite section of the fountain and into the surrounding lily pond.

    Remarks: 
    The ornamental water system and garden were created for $280,000 in donated funds, as part of a larger 16 acre garden expansion redesign timed to coincide with the state centennial and national bicentennial in 1976. The water system was designed by the hydraulic engineering firm Wright-McLaughlin, with construction by Langfur Construction Company. The Botanic Gardens were designed by the landscape architectural firm Eckbo, Dean, Austin and Williams.
