    Description: 
    Abstract steel sculpture consisting of two intersecting flat circles. One circle is cut out in the shape of a tree; the other circle depicts two human faces - one solid and one cut out. The sculpture stands on a concrete base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was a project of Marcellas High School students under the direction of teachers Nicholas and Smarzo. Abend served as consultant for the project and Losito welded the sculpture. McCarthy created the design for the sculpture. Cost of the sculpture was $3,000. Funding for the sculpture was raised through subscription by the students involved. IAS files contain copy of related dedication ceremony program and related articles from Press-Observer, Oct. 3, 1990; Syracuse Herald-Journal, April 18, 1990, Oct. 1, 1990; The Post-Standard, Oct. 4, 1990; and the Marcellas Central School District Newsletter, November 1990, pg. 10.
