    Remarks:
The land for Meridian Park was acquired by the city in 1976. Landscape architect Tom Berger designed the park, and was a member of the jury that selected Greening to produce an artwork for it. Funding was provided by the Seattle Parks Acquisitions and Development fund and One Percent for Art Program. Greening's original plan, which included an arch with a wrought-iron gate and stone steps, was modified to conform to the "barrier free" policies of the city.
