    Provenance:
Formerly located Midway Gardens, Chicago, Illinois
    Remarks:
IAS files contain copies of a press release from the Arizona Biltmore dated 1/93 and a letter from Heloise Crista dated 2/93. Original sculptures were designed by Wright and Ianelli in 1914 for Chicago's Midway Gardens. That establishment was destroyed in 1929. After World War II, some of the Sprites were found in pieces in a farmer's field in Lake Dalton, Wisconsin. In 1982, the Sprites were shipped to Talisein West in Phoenix by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, where they were restored and recast by sculptors Christa and Kerish.
