Description:
Full-length male figure, nude except for a loincloth, stands within three oval forms in a frieze on the facade of the Nobel Hall of Science. Both arms are extended at his sides with elbows bent. He holds a compass or caliper in his proper right hand and a pentagonal duodecahedron, or twelve-sided crystal, in his proper left hand. His head is turned to his proper right. Spheres orbit the figure from the oval forms. Two of the ovals are horizontal and the third is vertical.
