Bas-relief installed on the exterior of a building depicts the Immaculate Conception of Mary. She kneels in front of a sun with radiating flames. A crescent moon is under her feet, as is a serpent, who she crushes. Twelve stars float within the clouds which flow out behind the figure of Mary. A flowing form resembling water and representing Creation appears beneath the clouds. Mary and the sun are encompassed by the right hand of God. Reference to the symbols in this sculpture are found in Revelation 12:1. The sculpture is finished in varied color tones.
