    Description: 
    An interactive sculpture of a gigantic, geometric, human figure. The legs, arms, and head of the figure move when a wheel on the base is turned. The sculpture has hand-polished patterns on all the metal surfaces, and the base is gearwork enclosed by a metal framework with bolted Plexiglas window insets.

    Remarks: 
    Sculpture was commissioned and funded by the Lilian B. Disney Foundation to be displayed at the Walt Disney Children's Art Festival in May, 1994, held at the Missouri State Capitol grounds. The sculpture is meant to be operated by children. It has been subsequently displayed at other festivals in the state, including the Ozarks Public Television Street Party in June, 1995. The sculpture is kept in storage when it is not being displayed and must be assembled and disassembled with every use.
    IAS files contain article from Springfield News-Leader (Springfield, MO) June 24, 1995, pg. 1D; press release dated June 12, 1995 from Ozarks Public Television; and 1994 announcement of sculpture's display at the Walt Disney Children Arts Festival.
