Dimensions:  Approx. 5 ft. 5 in. x 8 ft. 5 in. x 4 ft. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Abstract representation of an elephant is comprised of geometric forms welded together. The ears are hinged and can be adjusted. The tail, legs and back are made from solid pieces of metal and the side flanks and the head are formed with welded shapes. The sculpture is painted brown. The sculpture was created while the artist was a student. It was given its title by the artist's father, former superintendent of buildings and grounds at the College. The sculpture was exhibited in a student-faculty art show at the University of Pennsylvania; in Michigan in a Ford Motor Company art exhibit; and in Washington, D.C.
