Description:  Composer Stephen Collins Foster sits on a rock, holding a flute in his proper left hand and a piece of paper in his proper right hand, which rests on his knee. Sculpture was a result of a $50,000 grant from the Kentucky Colonels to the My Old Home Foundation Nearby plaque reads: Stephen Collins Foster/was the composer of Kentucky's state song My Old Kentucky Home. This sculpture was created by Abbe Godwin, and generously donated by The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels./June 4, 1994.
