    Remarks: 
    The 960 pound statue was made for the Lockport Volunteer Hose Company of which George E. Singer, the model for this statue, was a member. After being located at the Action Hose building and then the Exempt Fire Home, the statue was presented to the Wilson Co. by George Singer. In 1963 the statue was stolen and moved to the Ransomville Fire Hall. Police discovered this and moved the statue back to the Wilson Fire Hall.
