Stretching across the garden lawn is an irregular resin cage designed to nourish the landscape. According to the artists, the sculpture is "divided into two planes: one representing the landscape and the other representing moisture, air and the environment." The grass and plants beneath the sculpture are watered with condensation collected from the surface of the sculpture, a design inspired by the shell of a desert beetle, which collects condensation for the beetle's survival.

The sculpture is the winning design submitted by Harvard Graduate School of Design students Keojin Jin and Juhun Lee for the 2013 university-wide Radcliffe Institute Public Art Competition. The sculpture will remain on view until March 2015 when the next winning design will be installed.
