Provenance:
Originally installed Seagram Plaza, New York, New York, June 1, 1991.
Remarks:
The sculpture was initially installed at Seagram Plaza in New York before being permanently installed at the Chinati Foundation on Oct. 12, 1991. Dedicated to the last Calvary horse, Louie, who was shot by the Calvary in 1933 when the U. S. Government terminated the Calvary outpost. Sculpture is located near Fort D.A. Russell.
