    Description: 
    An oversized, stylized representation of an anchor. The crown and one arm of the anchor appear as if they are embedded in the base, although both flukes are free. The shank of the anchor rises nearly vertically.

    Remarks: 
    The restaurant before which the anchor is installed is in the Anchor Cove Shopping Center, and the anchor was dedicated during the center's opening. The shopping center faces Kalapaki Bay, and its name recalls the old anchors left by ships mooring there which have been found by divers. Commissioned and designed by Mary Jasper, co-owner of JJ's Broiler Restaurant.
