Administered by City of Seattle, Seattle Arts Commission, 312 1st Avenue North, Seattle, Washington 98109
Located Fire Station No. 6, 23rd Avenue South & East Yesler Way, Seattle, Washington
Remarks:
The sculpture is a re-fabrication of a pre-existing design on the fire station. The sculpture was part of the Fire Stations Project and was one of five works of art to be added to renovated fire stations around the city. The sculpture was funded by the Department of Administrative Services One Percent for Art program. There is a discrepancy concerning the date of the sculpture: Seattle Art Commission and SOS! survey give 1987; Rupp lists 1988.
