    Remarks:
IAS files contain unpublished information from the parish records about the Reverend Charles J. Boylan and the erection of this statue. Boylan was named pastor of St. Peter's Parish on Jan. 24, 1857 and served until his death Dec. 4, 1886. Shortly after his death, his close friends, successor Father J. Gaffrey, and parishioners erected the monument, which was completed in 1889.
