    Remarks:
An arch covers each of the four entrances to the Jackson Town Square. Rotarians built the first elkhorn arch on the southwest corner of the square in 1953 or 1954. The arch on the northeast corner of the square was vandalized and was completely rebuilt by the Jackson Rotary Club. The antlers are collected from the National Elk Refuge, where bulls shed them each spring. Antlers are replaced when they break or are stolen. Some antlers are quite old and naturally deteriorate.
