    Weather vane depicts an abstract representation of the mountainous landscape near Farmington, Maine. It is topped by stars and includes a circular disk which symbolizes man in nature.

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned under the Maine Percent for Art Program for $6,000 for the Cascade Brook Elementary School, formerly known as the Farmington Elementary School. The sculpture and plaque were cast by the artist in his studio, Iron Horse Sculpture. This is reportedly the largest weather vane in Maine. IAS files contain a related article from the Kennebec Journal (Augusta, ME), Aug. 2, 1990.
