    Description: 
    Mural painted on the side of a concrete building. The mural features ceremonial and art masks from various cultures including: a Kabuki mask, an antelope headdress, a Tatunna mask, a Kwakiutl dance mask, a gargoyle, a lion mask and an El Tajin mask. On the far left of the mural, a metal antelope horn emerges from the mural as a three dimensional sculptural element.

    Remarks: 
    The mural was a project of the South East Seattle Arts Council and the Rainier Beach Library. The mural was funded by a One Percent for Arts Program Grant. Horton designed and executed the mural; Fessler designed and fabricated the sculptural element of the mural. IAS files contain a copy of the dedication program and copy of related article from Seattle Post Intelligencer, June 18, 1994.
