Description:
Abstract figure of Mu Dong as a dancing male child. The figure has an oversize head and oversize hat, and stands on his proper left leg. The proper right leg is bent at the knee and lifted up. A pigtail at the rear of the head curves up. A semi-circular extension curves around the proper left at the rear of the sculpture. A sash extends from the proper left torso.

Remarks:
The statue, the "mascot" of An San, cost $150,000. It was a gift from the sister city to Las Vegas. The statue is symbolic of a child dancer painted 500 years ago by a Korean artist who was from An San. A March 29, 1994 newsclipping on file in IAS indicates sculpture was vandalized.
