Remarks:
Round Table Literary Park is a tribute to the wisdom of the ancients. Besides featuring the Sword in the Stone, the park also has replicas of King Arthur's Round Table and the Theatre of Dionysius. Lucy Long designed the sword; John T. Robertson (a local architect) provided the necessary engineering skills to create the replicas. IAS files contain a transcription of a nearby plaque. IAS files also contain a related newsclipping from a University of Kentucky publication, Communi-T, March 30, 1995, which discusses the history of Round Table Literary Park and the sculpture.
