Medium:  Totem poles: painted cedar, with galvanized metal support; Base of totem 3: concrete. Dimensions:  3 totem poles. Inscription:  (On base of pole #3:) 7.5.86/C.W.H/D.L.H (On base of pole #3:) class 3/11.5.82 signed Description:  3 totem poles. Totem pole #1 has a large raven figure at the top with an applied beak secured with wooden dowels. The center figure is a crouching bear clasping a miniature human figure. An inverted human figure forms the base. A small human face peers from behind the raven's wings at the back of the pole. Black and red paint are used to pick out details. Totem pole #2 is a funereal totem pole with a large bird figure at the base, topped by a small green frog. A bas-relief human face is secured to a board which is attached to the top portion of the totem. In totem pole #3, the lowest figure is humanoid with palms open and hands up. The middle figure is a stylized bear with protruding tongue holding an inverted human figure by its legs. The top figure is a person wearing a stove pipe hat, with the fingers of its proper right hand in its mouth.
