Description:
Park includes 27.5 acres of permanent and temporary sculpture installations. There are three mazes. A Children's Maze includes artwork with a peace theme from children around the world. A second maze is shaped like the United States. The third is an earthwork maze. A free-standing wall mural contains relief images of figures and fragments such as hands and feet. A world map is installed on the ground, with the continents outlined in logs designed to be walked on. Some 32,000 cone-shaped pieces interspersed with missiles represents the United States nuclear arsenal. The works are linked by landscaped path.

Remarks:
Prairie Peace Park was initiated by Don Tilley ca. 1991. The concept was to integrate the natural prairie landscape with permanent and temporary sculptures whose themes are world peace. The land was purchased for $44,000 and the works were financed with private donations. IAS files include detailed information about selected pieces and related articles from the Lincoln Journal-Star, the Seward County Independent, the Omaha World-Herald, the "Nuclear Arsenal Handbook," (Denver, CO: Nuclear Arsenal Project, n.d.),
