JOSEPH NAGEL (On four bronze plaques on wall behind sculpture: names of nuns buried elsewhere) unsigned Description:  St. Francis stands with head turned downward, dressed in a belted robe with a cowl neck. He wears sandals. He holds a bird near his waist with his proper left hand. The sculpture is mounted on a square base with fluted sides set in front of a wall made of painted, fluted concrete containing four bronze memorial plaques. The wall is slightly curved.
